Default Tomes and Elite Skill Hunter

I apologize if this has been asked before, I used the search, and I couldn't find it.

If you buy an elite tome, and use it to get an elite skill, does it count towards the Skill Hunter title?

Come on thats common sense. If it didn't count that means anyone who ever used a tome couldn't get 2-4 titles.

Default Whos what in the huh?

Ah see this is one of those things I never bothered to check out, I figured I couldnt get the title now because I'v used a few tomes. Glad to have that cleared up! Thanks.

One of these days I really need to start caring about this game and learning some of the details instead of echo mending, leroy aggro party wipe marathoning.

For future reference, ask questions like this about game mechanics, etc. in this subforum:

Riverside is more for discussion of topics, not yes or no questions.

The Skill Hunter title track is a character-based, campaign-specific title earned by acquiring all elite skills found in that campaign.
The means don't matter just that you get the skills somehow.

Expensive way to go isn't it? I just buy cap sigs, find the boss locations in wiki and run out, cap, rinse, repeat. Average around 10 minutes per skill, some are harder, some easier. I'm 26 skills away from being Pokemon Champion! And it's only taken about 4 hours or so to get my last 30-ish skills...mind you, I did spend some time goofing around. It HAS to beat spamming "WTB Elite_____ Tomes" for hours.
